Weekend in a Snap

After a difficult week last week, our weekend was full of fun. I am on the mend. Life is returning to normal. Saturday I played around with my new lens a bit. Then we trekked to Ithaca for the Apple Festival and a visit with our friends.

I also had the opportunity to take photos -- for the first time officially -- of a handsome little boy and his family. Definitely a high point.


One of my favorite points in the weekend is when I decided to try Ada's hair in a tiny whale spout. Adorable. She looks so different!


And speaking of different: I am again on the hunt for a good sippy cup. Ada just doesn't care for any of them. There are so many choices! I walked away from this wall with nothing.


Sunday I ran a long run (15K) with my friend Ariana. I continue to kick myself for not keeping up with group runs. It's the best way to stay motivated. EVER.


The rest of the day, I indulged in some breads and cookies from Wegmans. NOM. (No photos because I ate everything far too quickly.)
