Fall. Farm. Fun.
>> 10.08.2012
The blog has been a bit of a photo-bomb lately. I actually have a lot to write about -- from breastfeeding to family date-nights to DIY bootie projects and more. I guess I've been too busy living while I can still venture outdoors. You know, feel my fingers before the winter cold sets in.
Today was chilly. We are still waiting on our furnace installation (ours is leaking some carbon monoxide -- more on that in another post), so we've been wrapping ourselves in all our blankets and quilts. Running a heater. And leaving the house whenever possible.
Highlight of the day: A trip to a nearby farm some friends.

The first couple photos make the farm seem so serious. But as you can see, there was lots of fun stuff to do. Hayrides. Pumpkin tableaus (yes -- I learned that vocab word from watching Dexter). Animals. I think Ada enjoyed the bearded goats best.
I have another installment of weekend fun that I'll post tomorrow, but it will be more than just photos. I'd like to write about our little family dates we take every now and again. What we do. How we make it work with Ada's schedule. That sort of thing.
Now I'm off to bury myself in blankets. I love you, fall. Please stick around a while. Not quite ready for snow, though I know that could happen any day now.
What was the highlight of your weekend?
