Ada and the Atlantic

We're back from vacation! A couple of you asked where we were -- Wildwood Crest, NJ. Actually this little bit at the bottom of the crest called Diamond Beach. Very much near Cape May, where Stephen and I took our babymoon last year. (And also where Ada's middle name Mae came about.)

I had intended to write and share more at the end of last week, but I got this intense mystery illness on Friday afternoon that took me completely out of commission for a few days. Lots of nausea. Absolutely no appetite. As in, I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but not exactly happy about it because I feel weak and have mostly been eating saltines. I'll get back to running a bit today now that I have had a couple solid meals.

(And no. I am definitely not pregnant, nor am I looking to be until Ada is at least 2 years old.)

The worst part? I had waited all vacation to snap photos of Ada on the beach. When time was running out, I just didn't have the energy. Thankfully we got a few earlier on from when Ada's feet first dipping into the ocean. I typically take a gazillion shots. This year, I took 50.
