My New Gig!

Thanks for all your helpful comments on yesterday's organic grocery shopping post. I'll answer some FAQs and give some of my own comments in the next post on the topic later this week. It's great to get all this input, and we're certainly learning a lot through the whole process.



I wanted to pass along some links that a couple of you thought would be helpful in discussion:

Tonight, I'm just hopping on here to chat briefly about my new gig. I have mentioned it in passing on Facebook and Twitter. But I wanted to announce it officially here. I am currently transitioning from being a SAHM to a part-time WAHM (work-at-home mom)!

I started as the Daily Deals Editor at Wise Bread last week, and I couldn't be happier.



If you aren't familiar with the site, you should definitely check it out. It's all about "living large on a small budget." Frugal living at its best . . . which couldn't be nearer or dearer to my heart these days.

Anyway, I post deals and steals Monday through Friday under the "Best Deals" section. There's a Twitter and Facebook page, if you'd rather follow that way. I've been doing my best to find some good stuff, but if you have any suggestions for areas where you'd like to see deals (clothes, travel, athletic gear, etc.) -- let me know!

Thankfully Stephen is home for the summer, so he's been watching Ada while I do my work in the mornings. Helping me get in a good rhythm. Yeah. We've developed quite a good routine, and it's getting easier each day! I need to do a better job of separating work and home, though.
