Sick Again

Ada is sick again. This time, she has very few symptoms -- just a wicked fever. I took her to her doctor today to rule out infections (whatever is wrong seems to be viral). Anyway, we're dealing with that over here this weekend. Tired already, but at least it's the weekend.

I'm continually amazed by the network of family and friends we have around us. People we know from childhood to people we've never met in person -- always, always willing to share their knowledge and understanding.

At six months, we're still so very new and clueless about all this parenting stuff. It's hard and sometimes scary, but oh-so comforting to get perspective from those who have been there before.

We're getting there, too. Slowly . . . but surely.
