More Weekend Scenes

Along with the zoo, there's this great children's park near where we live. It's full of crazy sculptures, colorful murals, water fountains, and all kinds of other fun things for little ones to enjoy.

Oh! Admission is free . . . which is a super bonus.



Yeah. This weekend was one of those weekends where -- even though we had a generous babysitting offer from my parents -- we didn't want to take them up on it. We didn't get much of a "break" from the responsibilities of parenthood, but we were reminded a gazillion times why we wanted to have a baby in the first place.

We're very much looking forward to summer and having more time to spend together. Makes all the budget crunching totally worth it.
