Ada's On the Move

Ada started crawling a couple weeks ago. It was labored and slow at first. She actually used her head to pull herself along for a few days. Then last Thursday after her morning nap, it seems like something clicked and she started moving e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e.

It's at this point that I've 100% decided to stop paying much attention to those milestone charts. I see lots of other babies Ada's age sitting up without support. I worried and worried about why she wasn't doing it, too. Then, the crawling began, which -- I've read -- usually happens after sitting.

Who knows what's "normal" anyway!

She's developing at her own pace according to her own preferences. And it's pretty awesome to experience.
